Our Story
I started The Cleaning Bees in Boston back in 2011, after years of seeing how rushed most cleaning visits felt, a quick hoover round and a wipe of the obvious surfaces, then out the door. I wanted to do it properly instead: DBS checked, fully insured, and treating every house the way I'd want mine left.
Fifteen years on, that's still how it runs. I go through every room methodically rather than skimming the parts that show, and I'll flag anything I notice while I'm there, a dripping tap, a loose tile, instead of cleaning around it. Whether it's a weekly clean or an end of tenancy job before a deposit's due back, the same care goes into it.
The Cleaning Bees is still a small, hands-on team based in Boston, not a franchise or a call centre. You'll speak to me directly when you book, and the same faces turn up on the day. That's not changing as the business grows.
